Mothers.

A day late, here's to mothers...

Here's to Mom. Here's to the sweet presence she was and is and always will be. Here's to all she poured into me in just 17 years. Oh how I miss her, but oh how grateful I am for the 17 years we shared and for the eternity we will spend making up for lost time. Here's to Mom.

Here's to Granny. Here's to the beauty and grace she has shown throughout a lifetime's worth of joy and struggle. Here's to Granny.

Here's to Betsy. My sister and my polar opposite... she is a wonderful mother to her children and she takes incredible care of me. Here's to Betsy.

Here's to Kelly. My sister-in-law. She knows exactly how to love her boys in the ways they most need to be loved- it amazes me to watch her insight at work in how she loves them and raises them. Here's to Kelly.

Here's to Brittany. My sister-in-law and mother to be!! I know she will be an exceptional mother because of how she takes care of Alex. Here's to Brittany.

Here's to Mrs. Diana. My mother-in-law to be. My children's grandmother to be. Here's to her giving spirit and to countless hours of conversation over coffee as she pours her wisdom into me. Here's to Dee Dee.

Here's to Anna Mae. Brian's grandmother and my new grandmother as well. She is kind in the way she embraces me and loves me. Here's to Anna Mae.

Here's to the circle of mothers God so graciously gave me... Joy, Emily, Lynn, Gina, Carol, Marsha... the list could go on. God is so good.

As sad as Mother's Day was this year- with it being Mother's Day and with moving out of the house, I was struck by God's faithfulness. Brian and I went to Tupelo to eat with everyone for Mother's Day at my sister's, and we opened our first wedding gift! How exciting! And we went to the storage unit to fill up the Penske truck to take our first load to Baton Rouge. Then we drove that night to Baton Rouge, where we unloaded at midnight. God reminded me all day long that even in the midst of sadness, He has great new beginnings planned for me.

God is good all of the time and all of the time, God is good.

I will add some pictures soon.

Rachel
